Propulsion Analytics to provide vessel performance solution to Euronav

Propulsion Analytics has signed an agreement to provide a custom-made fleet-wide vessel performance solution to Euronav the largest NYSE listed independent crude oil tanker company in the world.

The Propulsion Analytics state-of-art system QUAD combines physics-based models and digital twins of the vessel propulsion systems and utilizes data analytics by applying machine learning on the fast data streams from each vessel.

The system QUAD co-operates with the Propulsion Analytics engine performance system Engine Hyper Cube® in the Euronav vessels where the latter is installed.

The vessel performance system QUAD will be able to predict expected fuel consumption, explain any overconsumption and assist in operational decisions for all vessels in the Euronav fleet.
